Holly Henry & Pablo Anon deliver the official 'Sweet Dreams' Eurythmics Cover as featured in ASOT 1169. Holly's sublime and iconic voice sets the unique tone of the release, accompanied by Pablo's signature melodic techno kick, baseline and big room synths, provides the dance floor a fresh rework of a timeless classic.  With huge support list from DJs and fans the release found itself in the Beatport Top 10 for Melodic Techno's Hype list and reached the top 50 on the main Techno top 100 for Beatport.  This sustained effort and intense response from the #criticalfamily pushed the release into the main Top 100 for Beatport reaching #79 before dropping off the main room chart.

Its been almost 12 months since the last stream from Critical Sounds HQ and all has been quiet since then until the last Critical Sounds label night in Barcelona April 2024, where #criticalfamily fans expressed their desire to see the return of the show.  Thus Since May 2024, Steve Dekay and Pablo Anon have refitted and facelifted the show with new equipment, layout and broadcast format launching just in time to support Paradise Events December 2024 Ferry Corsten Event. 

This new format will include bi-monthly show on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month starting 4th December 2024.  In additional weekly track spotlights and regular interviews shorts with Critical Sounds artists and the A&R team across Instagram, Tiktok and Facebook.

Critical State and Critical Sounds renown label nights have been a stable part of the #criticalfamily musical diet.  However since its last show during to COVID-19 in December 2020, we have been building up for the right time to return.  This time we chose Spain's Barcelona M7 Nightclub and invited Critical Sounds favorite guest Indecent Noise to headline the occasion.

To commemorate the event, label owner Pablo Anon supported Steve Dekay with Indecent Noise with their new collaborative original release Last Night in Barcelona.  Fans did not disappoint and Critical Sounds delivered a full house event to the early hours of the morning.

Steve Dekay delivers at ASOT 1169 HQ a 1 hour special set showcasing the Critical labels to the world.  Featuring the biggest and newest releases to the world stage through Armin van Burren's & Ruben de Ronde famous radio show. 

In addition to the hour set, Ruben de Ronde gets up and personal with Dekay with a 30 minute interview detailing his amazing journey, the labels rise and its plan to stay on top of its game.
